Eventually, Google Summer of Code 2008 releases the accepted projects this year. Please warmly welcome students especially for projects of Drupal. Sadly, My proposed idea regarding XFN is not accepted. Drupal people don't really want social stuffs. That's ok. Now it's time to do it myself. If one really wants this stuff, he/she will do it without any funding by the way.

Do you have any idea in mind? No? Don't worry. You may find some idea fit your experiences at idea list page of each project. For example, Drupal has official ideas list which already approved by community members and mentors to make sure that its relevant and its scope are all acceptable. If answer is yes, you still need to propose your idea to Drupal community to verify your idea at SoC 2008 Group. After your idea is considered to be a good enough project for this summer, it will be added to the official ideas list.

Globus is a new mentoring organization this year. Difficulty in this project is not too hard, e.g., integrating Globus Toolkit to specific linux distributions, debian or redhat.
